I developed and maintained the THATCamp website with WordPress multisite, managed the THATCamp BootCamp fellowship program, and provided support to regional THATCamp organizers.
I managed this initiative to digitize and preserve recordings of North Carolina speech as my chief project for the CLIR postdoctoral fellowship.
In this three-year position, I helped faculty and graduate instructors in the University of Virginia English Department use technology in their teaching and research.
This internationally renowned center at the University of Virginia maintains thousands of online and offline digital texts of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. I coded texts in XML (eXtensible Markup Language) there; one example is Clotel by William Wells Brown: An Electronic Scholarly Edition.
I served as a research assistant for over a year on this pioneering scholarly project dedicated to the poems and paintings of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, coding texts and images in Standard Generalized Markup Language and conducting scholarly research.
I designed and redesigned the web site for the ILPPP and was the sole web developer there for many years. I also set up the Institute’s e-mail version of its journal Developments in Mental Health Law.
